September 26, 2019 – Manila, Philippines. BIMA Philippines, the leading mobile microinsurance provider has been a finalist to the prestigious award as Omni Experience Innovator of the year. The recognition was presented by IDC, a premier global provider of market intelligence, advisory services, and events for the information technology, telecommunications, and consumer technology markets.

Every year, IDC’s Digital Transformation (DX) Awards honors the achievements of organizations that have successfully digitalized one or multiple areas of their business through the application of digital and disruptive technologies within Asia. This 2019, they received a record-breaking 1170+ entries across the region.

This year, the highlight includes BIMA’s technology program which has enabled discernible and measurable excellence in the organization’s ability to create a customer-centric model focused on attracting and growing customer loyalty and advocacy. BIMA move from awareness to preference to reciprocity in its relationships, particularly with customers. 2017, BIMA Philippines was also recognized as Digital Disruptor of the year highlighting BIMA’s contribution to digital innovation in Asia as it harnesses mobile technology to bring affordable and accessible insurance to low, middle-income and unbanked individuals in the Philippines.
